The Optimist
The Optimist International Junior Golf Championship provides a unique opportunity for junior golfers from around the globe. In more than 50 qualifying tournaments, Optimists reach out into their own communities to involve children in the game of golf.
Each Year 5,000 junior golfers, ages 10-18, participate in Optimist sponsored events. The top 700 junior golfers advance to the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship each summer.

US Kids Golf
U.S. Kids Golf was started as a family business desiring to stay true to the mission and purpose of bringing kids into the game. Because providing the right equipment needed to be coupled with improved programs, coaching, and opportunity for competition, like other organized sports, the Foundation was started.
The vision of families spending time together outdoors and playing golf is our true passion, and many people throughout the golf industry have joined us in our efforts. We are thankful for our role in giving kids the lifelong game of golf.

Cornhusker State Games
The Cornhusker State Games is a statewide amateur sports festival for all Nebraskans. The purpose of the Games is to provide top-quality amateur competition in a wide range of activities. The 2024 Games are scheduled for July 11-21Â at more than 70 sites in Lincoln, Omaha and surrounding communities.
Besides offering a wide range of competitions (from traditional Olympic sports such as Track & Field, Gymnastics and Swimming) Nebraskans’ competitive interests are served by less demanding events such as Horseshoe Pitching, Mallwalk and Chess.
