The Nebraska Junior Golf Staff is looking to fill the team for the 2020 season! The title of this position is “Nebraska Junior Golf Assistant” and it runs from mid-May to early/mid-August. These new team members will play a vital role in carrying out first class experiences that NJG provides to the junior golfers in Nebraska. This opportunity is very unique in that it is a different angle into the golf business compared to a green grass job. We here at the Nebraska Section PGA truly believe that having experience in golf administration provides a vital edge to someone's overall skill set that sets them apart in this industry. This position delves more into tournament and event operations for the junior golfers in Nebraska. Our main facets of operation are running the NJG Tour, NJG TEAM Golf, Drive, Chip & Putt qualifiers, Nebraska Section PGA tournaments and PGA Jr. League. The networking options are endless and happen naturally with the job. It’s a tremendous avenue to create relationships with PGA professionals for future career moves. With this position, doors can be opened to anywhere and in almost any capacity through the Nebraska Section PGA.
NJG will be hiring 3 new team members for the summer of 2020 and will be accepting resumes through mid-December or so and will conduct interviews starting in January.
