We are pleased to announce that the 2023 NJG schedule has been released and is updated on the NJG website.
We are very excited for the upcoming Nebraska Junior Golf season, which will continue to provide an ample amount of playing opportunities with a couple new wrinkles! A brief summary for key/new things to come this season is below.
- NJG Membership will again be $125 for the season (Opens March 1st)
- Reminder: Youth on Course membership included within the NJG Membership
- If a YOC membership was purchased before a NJG Membership, you will be reimbursed for one of the YOC memberships
- NEW for 2023: 308 Junior Open
- July 18th at Lake Maloney GC in North Platte, NE
- Players MUST currently reside within the 308 area code to be eligible
- Open to both NJG Members AND Non-Members
- Open to all age divisions
- NJG Members will still receive season points from their member flight
- NEW for 2023: Adult/Junior Events
- 12U event at Jim Ager GC in Lincoln (9-holes) - May 20th
- 13+ event at Pioneers GC in Lincoln (18-holes) - August 6th
- Junior player must be a current NJG Member
- 2-person scramble format
- All Male, All Female & Mixed Divisions
- Not a part of any NJG Points Race

- NJG Spring Junior Series
- Available for NJG High School Girls
- 3 individual/team stroke play events offered throughout late April & early May
- Chance to compete on a team or as an individual
- UNL PGM will be awarding a $500 CASNR Scholarship to the top 30 individual players on the series points list

- NJG Summit Series Events
- Four 1-Day events offered
- NEW for 2023: Two 2-Day events offered
- For Boys 14-15, 16+ divisions and Girls 14-15, 16+ divisions
- 1-Day events worth 2x the points as regular tour events
- 2-Day events worth 2.5x the points as regular tour events
- Highlighting the top 3 overall boys 14+ and girls 14+ in the events with an award
- Season points will still be awarded based on each division's event leaderboard
- Must have a certain handicap to be eligible to register
- Girls: 22.0 or lower
- Boys: 12.0 or lower
- Higher consideration for the NGA Points List
- Reminder of elevations to the CNJA event
- Day 1 at Lochland CC in Hastings, NE
- Day 2 at Riverside GC in Grand Island, NE
- Short Game Skills Challenge after Day 1 play
- Highest point event of the season
- Division winners receive a custom CNJA Champion Ping golf bag
- Reminder that TEAM Golf events have been phased out of NJG programming
- If interested in playing in a more relaxed team environment, please check out PGA Jr. League
- NJG Fall Junior Series
- Available for NJG High School Boys (or girls who play NSAA high school golf in the spring during the boys season)
- Players must have a 12.0 handicap or lower to be eligible

- Chance to compete on a team or as an individual
